Paula picked up her first camera in1976 when embarking on a Peace Corps stint in the Middle East. Since then, Paula’s artistic journey has led her to work with a variety of different media, including metal smithing, paper marbling and collage, as well as batik work with Ukrainian eggs! In addition to creating art, she has hosted and curated art shows both locally in the PNW and internationally for over two decades.

In 2011, Paula picked up her camera again (this time digital!), and since then has been specializing in Nature and Wildlife photography, with a particular interest in birds. Her work has received a number of international online photography awards.
