My journey in the fiber arts started when I was 4 years old and my mother taught me to embroider. At 12, I took control of her Singer sewing machine and made all my own clothes. I learned to crochet when I was 30 and to knit when I was 40. Nuno felting – wet felting wool and silk together- found me when I was 70. Combining these techniques, I create my own designs and patterns. Using as many up-cycled fibers and textiles as possible, I create artful accessories with color and drama and low environmental impact.
