Camano Island, WAMy passion is creating! Working both as a jeweler and mixed media artist, I work out of my studio on Camano Island most of the year and Tucson in the winter. Natural objects, ethnic patterns and travel are my inspiration. I combine pearls, semi-precious stones and natural rocks with embossed copper and silver, Viking Knit and other handmade chains to create both casual and elegant jewelry. The majority of my jewelry is made with simple hand tools that I can take with me as I travel.
Over the past couple of years I’ve been exploring different book binding techniques. This year I am also showing hand made journals. The covers range from hand painted canvas to ikat fabric purchased on travels to Uzbekistan.
I look forward to meeting and visiting with you during the show!
